What to wear!

The most frequently asked question before one of my photo shoots is "What do I wear?!" Here are some helpful tips for your wardrobe choices:

1) Keep it simple. Wear what makes you feel and look really good! If you're comfortable, then it makes my job of capturing 'you' easier...

2) You can play it safe and wear something classic, you can go the formal route and get all dolled up, or you can give us a fashion statement with bold colors and accessories...it's your choice!

3) The good thing is, you can bring more than one outfit! Let's do photos in a casual manner, and have some fun with another outfit..there are no boundaries!

4) For the classic look - Jeans and a solid color shirt...both black and white work, but try to maintain a mono-color scheme if there are 2 or more people.

5) For the formal look- a great dress and some sexy heels...yes, shoes will matter as I do photograph you from head to toe! Guys- pull of a great crisp colored shirt and if it's not 101 degrees out, a great coat

6) If you're outgoing and bold...let's break the rules and wear a great patterned shirt/dress. I'll just make sure to use that outfit against a flattering solid color background! No worries! If you've got some awesome accessories...like my new peacock headband, bring it! Color is always a great way to "pop" some fun into our session.

7) The big no no's: Try to not wear a shirt that displays a company logo, i.e. we're not advertising for Abercrombie or Old Navy. If it's small, not a problem, just keep the writing to a minimum...too distracting from your pretty face!

8) Bring options...depending on where we end up and your personality, we can have fun with anything. As long as your smiling and enjoying yourself, your photos will come out fabulous! Plus, I always have some fun props with me...parasols anyone?!

9) If your unsure, bring it! If you have silly side, formal side, and casual side...we can work it all, not a problem!
